What is the suggested application rate of florikan 14-5-14?
Stewart, our resident fertilizer consultant, recommends using 10-20lbs of Florikan 14-5-14, per 1,000 sq ft. or 9-18 bags per acre.To further simplify the application rate, divide the space into a 10×10 area, which is the equivalent of 100 square feet and apply 1-2lbs directly under the canopy of the plant or other vegetation. Of course, smaller plants will need less fertilizer, which you can apply by hand (don’t forget gloves!) or a hand spreader.
Pro Tip: Your application rate should be based on the amount of square feet under the canopy of the plant.
