24-0-11 from the Big Earth Professional Fertilizer Series is a turf fertilizer blended specifically for Florida lawns. 24-0-11 covers 12,000 square feet, per 50lb bag. Developed using Small Particle Technology, the micronutrients in 24-0-11 have been nanotized and statically charged. The minor elements have been pulverized into fine powder, statically charged and attached to every fertilize particle. Yeti Trax’ Innovative Nutritional Technology allows for a more uniform and even distribution of minor elements through fertilizer applications. This allows greater contact with turf and roots, which leads to a healthier, stronger and greener lawn. The slow release, polymer coated nitrogen in 24-0-11 provides nutrients to lawns for up to 3 months.
What is the suggested application rate of BIG EARTH BLEND 24-0-11?
Stewart, our resident fertilizer consultant, recommends using 4lbs of Big Earth Blend 24-0-11, per 1,000 sq ft. or 4 bags per acre.To further simplify the application rate, divide the space into a 10×10 area, which is the equivalent of 100 square feet and apply 0.4lbs or 6.4 ounces directly under the canopy of the plant or evenly throughout the lawn. Of course, smaller plants and grassy areas will need less fertilizer, which you can apply by hand (don’t forget gloves!) or a hand spreader.
Pro Tip: Your application rate should be based on the amount of square feet comprising the grassy area or under the canopy of the plant .
