YaraVera Amigas 40-0-0 5.5 sulfur is a homogeneous granular fertilizer containing urea and ammonium sulfate. This unique homogeneous makeup will not segregate, has a very uniform granular size, is completely water soluble and allows for uniformity of application. Its 7:3:1 Nitrogen to Sulfur ratio is optimal for most crop fertilization, especially grain crops. By combining urea and ammonium sulfate into one particle, Nitrogen and Sulfur uptake by plant roots is increased compared to physical blends. This is a chloride free, 40% nitrogen and 5.5% sulfur blend allows for immediate availability of its nutrients to plants.
For granular application: Stewart, our resident fertilizer consultant, recommends using 2lbs of Amidas 40-0-0, per 1,000 square feet or 100lbs per acre.To further simplify the application rate, divide the space into a 10×10 area, which is the equivalent of 100 square feet and apply 0.2lbs or 3 ounces directly under the canopy of the plant or evenly throughout the lawn. Of course, smaller plants and grassy areas will need less fertilizer, which you can apply by hand (don’t forget gloves!) or a hand spreader. *ALSO AVAILABLE IN LIQUID CONCENTRATE! For liquid application: Stewart would recommend using up to 10oz per 1,000 square feet or up to 55 gallons per acre Pro Tip: Your application rate should be based on the amount of square feet comprising the grassy area or under the canopy of the plant .What is the suggested application rate of Amidas 40-0-0?
