What is the suggested application rate of BIG EARTH BLEND 21-0-0?
For granular application: Stewart, our resident fertilizer consultant, recommends using 2lbs of Big Earth Blend 21-0-0, per 1,000 square feet or 100lbs per acre.To further simplify the application rate, divide the space into a 10×10 area, which is the equivalent of 100 square feet and apply 0.2lbs directly under the canopy of the plant or evenly throughout the lawn. Of course, smaller plants and grassy areas will need less fertilizer, which you can apply by hand (don’t forget gloves!) or a hand spreader.
Pro Tip: Your application rate should be based on the amount of square feet comprising the grassy area or under the canopy of the plant .
